        What is the recommended treatment regimen for Face Light Mask

        We recommend using the devices 3-5 times per week for 4-6 weeks. After the initial 6 weeks, you should continue routine maintenance treatments as desired based on lifestyle and skincare needs, as everyone skin is different. Consistency is key, so find what works best for you!

        How long does it take LED light therapy to work?

        Improvements in skin conditions vary, as everyone’s skin is different and requires different needs. In all cases, we recommend using the Clear device for 4 treatments per week for 6 weeks. You may notice that at the end of the 6 weeks you still have breakouts, we recommend taking a break from the device, and starting back up with treatments after a couple of weeks.

        How does it work?

        Normal skin bacteria colonize in the skin's pores causing the inflammation and redness of the skin that we associate with acne. The bacteria responsible for this inflammation (C.acnes), produces natural chemicals called porphyrins, which are sensitive to the wavelengths of light used by Clear (blue and red).
